Fryer Wedged Potatoes
There are few things that equal comfort food the way a crisply fried potato does. These wedged potatoes are a perfect complement to burgers, hot dogs, or as the base for your meal like Poutine Fries! This recipe may become your new favorite way to eat potatoes. Plus, with the super short ingredient list, you likely have all the supplies you need already in your pantry.
2 medium Russet Potatoes, cut into wedges
½ tsp Olive Oil
½ tsp Red Chili powder
½ tsp paprika
½ tsp sea salt
¼ tsp ground black pepper
Combine all the ingredients in a bowl. You will want to blanch the potato wedges in water until they are fork tender, not breaking apart, this will speed up your cooking time in the air fryer. Remove the wedges from the water using tongs, pat them dry, using your olive oil brush on the wedges then sprinkle each wedge with the seasoning mix. Place your wedges in your air fryer and push the “French Fry” preselect. If you don’t have a preset button you can set your timer at 18-20 minutes and temperature at 400°. Halfway through the cooking time, you will want to stop your unit and toss the fries to ensure even cooking on all sides. When they are done, and you have reached your desired crispness you can serve them with ketchup, BBQ sauce or any dipping sauce you prefer. Easy, quick and made with less oil and fat!

There are so many delicious flavors combined to create these chops that is it like sending your mouth on a culinary adventure.
4 (6-8oz) bone in pork chops
2 large eggs
¼ cup of 2% milk
1-1¼ cups of Panko Bread Crumbs
1 cup chopped Pecans
¼ cup all-purpose flour
¼ cup Balsamic Vinegar
2 tbsp Brown Sugar
2-3 tbsp Seedless Raspberry Jam
2 tbsp Orange Juice Concentrate (thawed)
Olive oil cooking spray or 1 tbsp olive oil for brushing on the chops
The cook time on these pork chops runs about twelve to fifteen minutes depending on the thickness of the meat. If they are thin-sliced pork chops, you may only need about eight minutes to get them thoroughly cooked. Preheat your air fryer to 400°. In a bowl big enough for your pork chops to be dipped in, whisk together the eggs and milk. In a second bowl the same size mix your bread crumbs with the pecans. Coat your pork chops first with flour, shake off the excess, then dip them in the egg mixture and finally in the bread crumb mixture, you can pat it to help it adhere to the meat. Place your chops in a single layer air fryer basket and lightly brush with oil. Cook the pork chops until golden brown, the time is between 8 and 15 minutes depending on the thickness of your chops. The make the raspberry glaze, place the remaining ingredients in a small saucepan and bring to a boil, cook and stir until the mixture is slightly thicker, about 6 minutes. When your pork chops are done cooking drizzle the glaze on top and serve immediately.
The air fryer isn’t just for dinner! There are plenty of breakfast recipes that can be created using this appliance, like these French Toast sticks. Super crispy and tossed with the perfect amount of cinnamon and sugar, these sticks are a great way to start your morning, and they are easy to eat on the go.
Fried Good Morning French Toast Sticks
6-8 slices of Texas Toast
1 cup whole milk
4 large eggs
2 tbsp sugar
½ tsp ground Cinnamon
1 ½ tsp vanilla
Start by cutting each slice of bread in to “sticks” the thickness of your sticks depends on you, I try to cut the pieces of bread into thirds. Place the sticks in a 9x13 baking dish. Whisk your eggs, vanilla and milk together in a bowl and pour into the baking dish, allow the bread to soak up the egg mixture and turn the sticks over so they become fully coated. Remove the sticks from the egg mixture and place them on a shallow baking dish, put the dish in the freezer to freeze for about 45 minutes. In a small bowl mix together your sugar and cinnamon. To air fry your French Toast sticks, take then out of the freezer and place them on your air fry tray, bake for 10-12 minutes or until they reach your desired golden-brown color. Remove carefully using tongs and sprinkle with the cinnamon sugar. Serve them with maple syrup. This are great for kids on the go in the morning and you can make these ahead of time and leave them in the freezer overnight for a quick go to meal in the mornings!
There is nothing like a classic to keep the family happy, and chicken nuggets have long been a favorite with kids of all ages. This recipe will give the kids the “fast food” fix they are craving, but you can feel better about it because it isn’t deep fried and full of grease. This is an easy recipe for any air fryer novices out there!
Air Fryer Parmesan
2 Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
Salt and black pepper
3 tbsp melted butter
1 cup Breadcrumbs
1 cup Parmesan Cheese
First you’ll need to cut your chicken breasts into nugget size pieces, whatever size you prefer. Then put your butter in one bowl and your breadcrumbs and parmesan cheese in a different bowl. Dip each nugget in the butter then in the crumb mixture and place each nugget on your air fryer tray. Try to stick to a single layer so you don’t have to flip or shake the basket. Use your chicken preset if you have one or set your air fryer to 390° and allow it to preheat if necessary. Air fry your nuggets for 7-9 minutes depending on how thick they are. You may need to add more time if they do not reach the desired 165° internal temperature for chicken. When they are done safely remove each one with tongs and start another batch. These are a great go to snack for kids after school or before a practice, full of protein and delicious too!
I didn’t forget my veggie loving readers or our friendly vegetarians! This is a perfect recipe for those that prefer to eat less meat, but still have a tasty main dish! If the mix of spicy and sweet sauce is what you are craving then let’s dive in and satisfy that craving!
1 head of Cauliflower cut into Florets
¾ cup all-purpose Flour
3 large eggs
1 cup packed Panko Breadcrumbs
Canola or Peanut Oil in a spray bottle
2 tbsp Oyster Sauce
½ cup Soy Sauce
3 tsp Chili Paste
3 tsp Rice Wine Vinegar
3 tsp Sugar
¼ cup of Water
1 ½ cups steamed Broccoli
White or Brown Rice for serving (optional)
Let’s get to cooking! First preheat your air fryer to 400° if it needs to preheat. Then divide your flour into ¼ of a cup and ½ half of a cup, you’ll need these in a bit. Place your cauliflower in a large bowl and sift the flour over the entire bowl of cauliflower. Place the eggs in a second bow and in a third bowl combine your breadcrumbs and ½ cup of flour together. Make sure your cauliflower is completely coated in flour by tossing the bowl to coat on all sides. Dip each floret in the egg mixture and then into the breadcrumb mixture and coat on all sides. Placed each breaded cauliflower floret on your air fry tray and spritz each one with a bit of oil. Cook your florets for about 15 minutes, flipping the over for the last 5 minutes of cooking and spritz them lightly one more time with oil.
While your cauliflower is air frying let’s make the hot sauce. Combine the oyster sauce, soy sauce, chili paste, rice wine vinegar sugar and water in a saucepan and bring the mixture to a boil on your stovetop. Then lower the heat to low and let it simmer for the remaining time, roughly 10 minutes. Make sure you continue to stir it so it doesn’t stick to the bottom of the pan. When your air fryer time is up, remove your cauliflower and place all the florets in the large bowl, pour the sauce over the florets and toss to fully coat. Serve with steamed broccoli or rice if desired. This is a delicious snack, a hearty main dish or fabulous as an appetizer for a party! Enjoy!
