Three Easy Air Fried Snacks to Make in Your Emeril AirFryer 360

As a mom who is home-schooling like the rest of the world right now, I’m facing not only my child’s snack attacks but my own as well! I’ve turned to my Emeril Air Fryer for solutions. Here are a few of the air fried snacks I’ve made. The snacks are not only tasty and easy but also healthier than your average bag of junk!

  1. Air Fryer Nachos - I had some leftover rotisserie chicken made from this Emeril recipe two nights before using the Emeril Air Fryer 360. Taking a break from home schooling and working from home, I was suddenly craving nachos! I took a few corn tortillas and cut them into strips. Next I sprayed them with a little EVOO spray and sprinkled a little salt on them. I placed the strips into the air fry basket and let them air fry until nice and crispy – about 6 minutes at 400° F. I then put the nachos in the baking tray, topped with some of the chicken, added a ½ cup of drained canned black beans, and some low-fat shredded cheese. I set it to the broil setting and let it broil for about five minutes. I served them with a little bit of salsa and low-fat sour cream. OMG. Delicious and easily hundreds of calories less than anything I would’ve picked up at a chain restaurant.
  2. Air Fryer Potato Chips – These were much easier to make than you would think! I used a simple, inexpensive mandolin and thinly sliced 1 russet potato. I soaked the potato slices in water for 20 minutes, removed from the water and patted them dry. I sprayed the air fryer basket with a little EVOO and lined the potato slices into the basket. I topped with a little more EVOO spray and seasoned the chips with salt and pepper. I air fried the slices for 25 minutes at 375° F. I had to air fry them in two batches but they were great! My kid loved them too and I loved the simple ingredients and practically no fat.
  3. Air Fryer Crunchy Chickpeas – Don’t feel like slicing and soaking potatoes for the chips? This one is even easier! Just rinse and drain a can of chickpeas (also known as Garbanzo beans) and then pat them as dry as you can get them. I sprayed the Emeril Air Fryer baking tray with EVOO. I then spread the chickpeas out in a single layer and lightly sprayed the top with olive oil. I seasoned them with salt, pepper, and garlic powder and air fried at 390° F for about ten minutes. So crunchy and good! Be careful – they are addictive.

What are some of your favorite snacks you’ve made using your Emeril Air Fryer 360?
