Recipe Type: Emeril Pressure Air Fryer

Pint Jars: 4


  • 2 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 2 teaspoon canning salt


1. Tightly pack green beans into pint canning jars, leaving 1-in. headspace. Add 1/2 tsp. canning salt to each jar. Add boiling water to each jar, leaving 1-in. headspace. Remove air bubbles. Wipe rims. Center lids on jars; screw on bands until a little more than fingertip tight.

2. Place wire rack with handles into inner pot. Arrange the jars on rack. Pour hot water into inner pot until water level reaches a quarter of the way up sides of jars. Lock pressure lid. Press canning function. Press timer; set to 20 minutes. Start.

3. Quick-release pressure; remove pressure lid. Let stand 5 minutes before removing from unit to cool further.

4. Lids should be tightly sealed to jars. When jars are completely cool, press center of lid. There should be no give or springing motion. If lid springs or gives, the canning process was not successful. Food must be reprocessed immediately or refrigerated and used within 5 days.
